For a blasting and metallising hall in Norway, Straaltechniek International developed a set of container filters. The installation complies with all Norwegian laws and regulations, which are among the strictest in the world in terms of health and the environment.

The client

The company is a global player in the offshore industry, particularly in the energy sector. It develops, supplies and maintains subsea production systems in every conceivable environment: from tropical deep seas to ice-cold Arctic waters.

The challenge

Components of drilling platforms and other subsea structures are blasted and metallised to protect them against seawater. These processes release a large quantity of particles. Effective extraction is therefore of the utmost importance, especially in a country that sets such high standards for health and the environment.

The solution

We developed a set of container filters that extracts the particles from the blasting and metallising hall. The high-quality installation complies with all Norwegian laws and regulations.
